Beijing-3C Satellite Quartet in Orbit

The Beijing-3C constellation, a group of four intelligent remote-sensing satellites, was put into its designated orbit on May 20. A Long March-2D carrier rocket carrying the quartet was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi province, north China. Beijing-3C will support China's land management, agricultural surveys, environmental monitoring, and urban applications.

Drone Delivery Service Takes Wing

Drone delivery services are rocketing in China's Greater Bay Area. Daily about 700 deliveries are made through drones in sectors such as sightseeing, campuses and workplaces. Thousands of orders have been completed, with an average delivery time of 12 minutes.

Researchers from University College London in the UK and the University of Vigo in Spain have discovered that not all dinosaurs were cold-blooded. The new study suggests that the ability to regulate body temperature may have evolved in some dinosaurs during the Jurassic period, about 180 million years ago, predating the ability in all modern mammals and birds.
